존경하는 대한악안면성형재건외과 학회 회원 여러분.
제64차 학술대회는 바로 이곳 부산입니다.
그동안 치과 대학이라는 울타리 없이 진료, 교육 그리고 연구를 꾸준히 이어오며 지역 의료의 한 축을 묵묵히 담당해 온,
저희 동아대학교병원에서 주최하게 된 점은 무엇보다 큰 영광으로 생각합니다.
이번 부산 학회는 단순한 지리적 이동을 넘어 학문의 중심이 지역과 현장으로 확대되어 세계로 나아가고 있음을 상징하는 뜻 깊은 이정표가 되어야겠다는 의지로, “Beyond boundary, Sharing excellence and Friendship” 이란 구호 아래 최선을 다해 준비하였습니다.
우리의 학문은 언제나 수술실에서 병상에서 그리고 연구실에서 조용하고 묵묵히 쌓여온 노력 위에 세워져 왔습니다. 이번 학술대회 역시 화려함보다는 현재와 미래를 함께 고민하는 진정성 있는 내용으로 채우고자 합니다.
학술대회를 준비해 온 그간의 시간들이 쉽지만은 않은 여정이었으나, 지역과 여건을 넘어 우리 학회와 학문의 발전에 조금이나마 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라는 사명감에 견뎌낼 수 있었던 시간들이었습니다.
학회 회원들뿐 아니라 이웃 국가들에서도 참석해 주신 많은 귀빈과 연자 분들께도 감사드립니다. 이번 학회기간이, 부산의 푸른 바다처럼 깊은 학문적 통찰과 담대한 비전을 공유하는 소중한 시간으로 기억되길 기원합니다.
마지막으로 이번 학술대회 준비에 헌신적인 노력을 다해 주신 김복주 학술대회 조직위원장을 비롯한 많은 준비 위원들의 노고에 큰 감사와 존경을 드립니다. 부디 오늘의 이 학회가 60여년을 넘어 그 이상까지 계속적인 발전을 이어나가는 중간 연결고리로서 손색이 없기를 기원합니다.

Dear distinguished members of the Korean Association of Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons,
The 64th Congress will be held right here in Busan. First of all, it is a great honor to host this Congress at Dong-A University Hospital, as we have been playing a leading role in local health care for many years, consistently providing treatment, education, and research without the protective boundaries of a dental school.
With the intention that this Congress in Busan will become a significant milestone symbolizing the expansion of the center of learning to the regions and sites, and to the world, beyond a mere geographical move, we have prepared with our best efforts under the slogan “Beyond boundary, Sharing excellence and Friendship."
Our disciplines have always been built on the quiet but steady efforts that we have made in the operating rooms, at the bedside, and in the laboratories. We wish to fill the Congress with sincere and truthful contents, reflecting and considering what we do today and will do in the future, rather than the glitz and glamor.
It has not been an easy journey preparing for the Congress, but it was a time we could work together and endure with a sense of mission that we can make a small contribution to the advancement of our Association and disciplines beyond the region and circumstances.
I would like to thank many distinguished guests and speakers who are attending the Congress from neighboring countries, as well as the members of the Association. I hope this Congress will be recalled as a precious time to share our deep academic insights and bold visions, just like the blue sea of Busan.
Lastly, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and respect to the members of the organizing committee and Dr. Kim Bok-joo, the chairman, for all their dedicated efforts and hard works in preparing for this Congress. I sincerely hope that the Association will serve as an intermediate link for the continued development of our field for the next 60 years and beyond.

친애하는 대한악안면성형재건외과학회 회원 여러분. 안녕하십니까?
제 64차 대한악안면성형재건외과학회 종합학술대회를 동아대학교 의과대학 치과학교실 주관으로 개최하게 되었습니다. 준비 과정에서 여러 모로 애써주신 학술대회장님 이하 조직위원회 여러분과 동아대학교 치과학교실 교실원 및 의국원께 감사의 말씀을 전합니다. 1962년 처음 개최된 창립학술대회를 기점으로 우리 학회는 많은 분들의 노력과 희생으로 턱얼굴 영역의 성형과 재건 수술, 미용 수술 분야에서 장족의 발전을 이루어왔습니다.
종합학술대회뿐 아니라 턱얼굴미용수술연수회, 미세수술연수회 등 실습에 기반하여 개최되는 연수회를 통하여 회원 여러분께 턱얼굴 분야의 미용과 재건에 관한 실질적인 도움을 드리고 있고 구강악안면외과학회와 공동으로 매년 3월 새로 진입하는 구강악안면외과 전공의의 길라잡이로서 신입전공의 오리엔테이션을 주최하며 턱얼굴 분야의 미래 준비에도 최선을 다하고 있습니다.
이번 학술대회는 7개의 Symposium과 1개의 Special Lecture, 그리고 몇몇의 Collaborate Hands-on Session으로 구성하였습니다. 해외의 저명 연자 뿐 아니라 국내 여러 초청 연자들을 모시고 다채로운 내용으로 강연 및 토론이 열릴 예정입니다. 장명우교수님과 Sil Park교수님은 보철과 교수님으로 저희가 모신 분이고 중국에서도 두 분을 이번 학술대회의 주연자로 모셨습니다. 우리 학회의 자매 학회인 일본악변형증학회와 대만구강악안면외과학회에서 다수의 연자들을 초청하여 해외의 경향도 살펴볼 것입니다. 일일이 열거할 수는 없지만 턱얼굴 분야의 국내 저명 연자들도 다수 초청하였습니다.
흔쾌히 초청에 응해주시고 강연을 허락해주신 국내외 연자분들과 심포지움 연자분들, 그리고 적극적인 참여로 이번 학술대회를 빛내주신 회원 여러분께 감사의 말씀을 드립니다. 이번 학술대회를 주관하여주신 김철훈 학술대회장과 김복주 조직위원장께, 그리고 모든 준비에 수고를 아끼지 않으신 동아대학교 치과학교실원 여러분께 깊은 감사의 마음을 전합니다. 학회 전시에 참여해주신 업체 관계자 여러분께, 그리고 학술대회를 비롯하여 학회의 모든 회무에 항상 수고해주시는 학회 임원 여러분께도 이 자리를 빌어 심심한 감사의 말씀을 전합니다. 제 64차 대한악안면성형재건외과학회 종합학술대회가 우리 모두에게 학술교류뿐만 아니라 회원 상호간의 친목도모 등 전반적인 축제의 장을 펼치는 넓은 마당이 되길 기원하며 참여하는 여러분 모두에게 건강과 행복이 늘 함께 하시기를 기원합니다.

A Greeting from the President of the Korean Association of Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons
Dear Members of the Korean Association of Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons,
It is my sincere pleasure to extend warm greetings to all of you.
We are honored to host the 64th Congress of the Korean Association of Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, organized by the Department of Dentistry, Dong-A University College of Medicine. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Congress Chair, the members of the Organizing Committee, and the faculty and residents of the Department of Dentistry at Dong-A University for their dedication and hard work in preparing for this meaningful event.
Since our inaugural academic conference in 1962, our society has made remarkable progress in the fields of maxillofacial reconstructive, plastic, and aesthetic surgery, thanks to the unwavering commitment and sacrifices of many devoted members.
In addition to our annual congresses, we continue to support our members through hands-on programs such as the Maxillofacial Aesthetic Surgery Training Course and the Microsurgery Training Course, which provide practical knowledge in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, we organize an orientation every March for new residents entering the field, serving as a valuable guide and helping prepare the next generation of specialists.
This year’s congress features 7 Symposia, 1 Special Lecture, and several Collaborative Hands-on Sessions. We are pleased to welcome a distinguished lineup of international and domestic speakers who will deliver a variety of insightful lectures and discussions. Notably, we have invited Professor Myung-Woo Jang and Professor Sil Park, esteemed prosthodontists who have also been selected as lead speakers for this congress by Chinese organizers. We will also explore global trends by hosting prominent speakers from our sister societies—the Japanese Society of Jaw Deformities and the Taiwanese Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, many of Korea’s leading experts in the field will join us to share their expertise, although they are too numerous to mention individually.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the domestic and international speakers and symposium participants who graciously accepted our invitation, as well as to our dedicated members whose enthusiastic participation helps make this congress a success.
I would also like to express my sincere thanks to Professor Chul-Hoon Kim, the Congress Chair, and Professor Bok-Joo Kim, the Organizing Committee Chair, and to the entire faculty and staff of Dong-A University’s Department of Dentistry, who have spared no effort in the preparation process.
My gratitude also extends to the industry partners participating in the exhibition, and to all the society’s officers who continue to work tirelessly in managing our affairs, including this congress. I hope the 64th Congress of the Korean Association of Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons will serve as a vibrant platform for academic exchange and camaraderie among members, and become a true celebration for us all. I wish you good health and lasting happiness.
